I began the year directing ‘Craig Bellamy’ a documentary on the Wales football manager for S4C. I edit produced ‘Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen’, before directing a few episodes of ‘Location, Location, Location’.
As well as directing Location, Location, Location I returned to S4C to Series Direct Ciao! – a cookery and travelogue series shot in Italy. I also edit produced Wales’ Home of the Year and Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen. At the end of 2025, I published my second novel, ‘Joni Jones and the Ghosts of Gower‘.
My time was spent back and forth between two productions. Bargain Hunt and Location, Location, Location. I also took the opportunity to publish my first novel ‘Joni Jones and the Ghost Train’.
2023 and 2024 were spent bouncing back and forth between two productions I enjoy shooting – ‘Bargain Hunt‘ and ‘Location, Location, Location‘. They combine my passion for history and property, and both provide a chance to travel the UK and meet interesting people.
The first 4 months of 2022 were spent Edit Producing ‘Dream Kitchens and Bathrooms’ for Channel 5. May, June and July were spent directing ‘Location, Location, Location’ for Channel 4.
For the last six months of 2021 I was busy directing ‘Location, Location, Location’ for Channel 4, and edit producing ‘Nick Knowles’s Big House Clearout’ for Channel 5.
I’ve been busy filming Bargain Hunt for the BBC, including a ‘999’ Emergency services special.
2020 was not without its challenges, however I was lucky enough to work on Bargain Hunt for the BBC throughout the year, creating a combination of special archive based shows, and shooting normal shows when rules and regulations allowed us to do so.
From Autumn 2019 to Spring 2020, I was back directing Bargain Hunt for BBC One, including the Sport Relief special.
I finished the Summer back on the normal version of Antiques Roadtrip for BBC1.
